Gulf Air to Resume Services Between Bahrain & Thiruvananthapuram

gulfair1Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has launched a promotion to mark the start of its flights from Thiruvananthapuram on the 15th December 2013. The promotion is for its passengers who are travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to destinations across the airline’s GCC network.

Promotional fares on Economy class start from as low as INR 10,094 to popular destinations in the Gulf including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Doha, Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah.

Tickets can be purchased between now and the 30th of November 2013 on airline’s website or through a travel agent and are available for travel from the 15th of December 2013 until the 31st of January 2014.

Gulf Air Country Manager for India Mr. A. Hussain A. Rahman said, “We are pleased to announce our launch promotion for Economy class passengers offering them affordable fares to a range of popular destinations in the Middle East to coincide with our first flight to Thiruvananthapuram on the 15th of December. We operate one of the largest Middle East networks and our strategic location and efficient hub is well positioned to connect travelers from Thiruvananthapuram to many of the popular destinations in the region.”

Gulf Air has been flying to India since 1960 and Thiruvananthapuram is the fifth destination in India to be added to the airline’s existing network, increasing Gulf Air’s capacity to the country by 10% from 45 to 50 weekly flights.  The airline has announced its flight resumption to Thiruvananthapuram with 5 weekly flights to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport starting on the 15th of December 2013.
