“qisa 2012”: Film Festival of Technopark

Prathidwani, a socio-cultural organisation of Technopark employees, is organising ‘Qisa 2012’, the first short film festival and competition at Technopark, on September 15. This is the first time, Technopark is hosting a short film competition exclusively for techies.

The film festival is perhaps the only one to have screenings for the employees of Technopark and will be an excellent platform for short film enthusiasts and film professionals to meet up with current trends. Qisa Film Festival (QFF) features talent across all genres including COMEDY, DRAMA, HORROR, and SCI-FI! This is the ultimate showcase for writers, directors, actors, TV creators and filmmakers from Technopark. It provides creative individuals of diverse backgrounds an opportunity to get their materials in front of key decisions makers.

The entries are restricted to films directed by techies after August 1. The best short film, second best short film, best director, best script and best actor will be given cash prizes on September 20. The judging panel consists of film critic M.F Thomas, writer Rose Mary and film director Nooranadu Ramachandran.

The Prize Money will be:

Best Short Film    :    Rs. 11111/-
Second Best Film :    Rs. 5555/-
Best Director        :    Rs. 5555/-
Best Script            :    Rs. 3333/-
Best Actor             :    Rs. 3333/-
