Its been a repeating story of some vested interest against in connection with the construction of a flyover at Thakaraparambu by a group of people. A total of three petitions were filed before the Honorable High Court of Kerala (all three without corruption charges) and all three were cancelled by High Court, given the go-ahead for the construction of flyover. Again they filed a petition, but this time in Lokayuktha pinpointing corruption against some officers as High Court won’t file case against corruption charges. This particular project is getting delayed for a long time and this has come after all the necessary arrangements, including rehabilitation of nearby shops owners are being made by the State Government to start the construction of the flyover soon. But according to TRDCL they are starting the construction work according to the verdict by the High Court as it will not come under Lokayuktha, as such they will start the construction of flyover as planned, that is on Monday.
