ICFOSS to join hands with Google

The International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS) here has plans to co-operate with internet giant Google. The area of interest will be the research and development of free software for personal computing and smart phones. As per the ICFOSS director Sathish Babu, Thiruvananthapuram is known as the Capital of Free and Open Source Software in India. As part of the 10th anniversary an International Free and Open Source Software seminar will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram from December 27-29 this year. Well known personalities from different nations will be participating in the event.
