Homegrown Companies Going Global

Thiruvananthapuram based Neologix Software Solutions India, a web and mobile application development company, is all set to launch its UAE operations at the Dubai Hamariya Free Zone on October 12, 2011. The office will be inaugurated by Dr. Rashid Al Leem, Director General, Hamariya Free Zone Authority (HZFA) in the presence of Saud Al Mazrouee, Deputy Director – Commercial Affairs, HFZA; Mervin Alexander, CEO, Technopark; Gigo Joseph, CEO, Infopark and K G Girish Babu, MD, KSITL.

Earlier this year, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between HFZA and Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram which seeks to create a basis for cooperation and collaboration between the two sides for the advancement of entrepreneurship in IT Sector in both geographies through the mutual sharing of knowledge, experience and best practices thus allowing both sides to benefit from each other’s respective work and involvement. Based on this MoU, Neologix is the first company to setup its operations in Hamariya Free Zone.

Jenu Joseph, MD & Chief Architect, Neologix said, “Neologix opening its office in Hamriya Free Zone would help build confidence and encourage other companies in Technopark to expand to UAE. We look at this expansion as a great opportunity”. Founded in 2002, Neologix Software Solutions has its headquarters and three development centres in Thiruvananthapuram including one at the Leela Infopark building inside the Technopark campus.

According to Shan M Hanif, Co-Founder, Neologix, the Hamariya office will initially be functioning as a Business Development and Consultancy Division. Neologix has been catering its services to a wide range of domains and has extensive expertise in sectors like Healthcare, Automotive, Finance, E-learning, Hospitality, Office Automation, E-commerce, and Sports. With the launch of the UAE operations, Neologix plans to service these sectors in the entire Middle East market.
